Is wonderful so far I just received this vacuum recently. I use an upright vacuum for vacuuming the main floor areas both tile and carpeting. I had a small inexpensive canister vacuum for cleaning blinds, moldings, under furniture, aroundwindows, stairs etc., but after five years the suction just disappeared even though I cleaned the filter after each use, So I was looking for a replacement and found the Dirt Devil. I have only used it once and it's design is new to me but it seems to work very well for what I need it to do. I have pets and I prefer the upright vacuum to get all the pet hair and cat litter from the open areas. The Dirt Devil works great for the daily vacuuming and getting to all the areas the upright can't get to.I am pleased so far. We have cats and dogs with hardwood and tile floors.
