dirt devil vacuum steam cleaner

Great Value with More Power and Less Weight Age 18-24 25-34 35-44 45-54 55-64 65 and older Gender Male Female The cleaner comes in 4 pieces in the box. The manual is great with “Quick start” directions. The steps are laid out extremely simple. All steps on assembly and use simple steps with easy to see and follow pictures. The mop head swivels like a ball. Easy to get into anywhere to clean. The water tank is very easy to fill with a perfect sized filling cup that is included. And the lid for the water tank is on a tether, so you won’t lose it by needing to set it down when filling. Steamer only took maybe 10 seconds to heat up, and the light to turn green, indicating that it is ready. This was extremely fast! Effortlessly cleans the floor with no need to scrub. It’s great that it doesn’t leave the floor too wet, and it dries quickly. There is also a cleaning solution tank that you can fill in the front of the cleaner. You just have to pull the trigger and it sprays right in front of the mop head.
You can use this for easy, quick cleaning, and you don’t have to be plugged in to an outlet to use. The cord is a good length, not so long that it gets in the way, but long enough. Moving between outlets was smooth as the steamer doesn’t have to reheat. It is already hot and ready to go as soon as you plug it into the new outlet. The cleaning pad removes very easy and is machine washable. The only thing I would change on it would be that I do wish it could stand up straight by itself. For storing the cord wraps up on it like a vacuum. It also comes with 2 disposable mop heads. I'm not sure when or if I'll ever use them. I plan on using the washable one all the time. It takes less than 3 mins to put together out of the box and has very clear instructions on how to you the steam power and spray mop. Second, the spray mop by itself is very good and gets out messes in one or two passes but if you have some stubborn stains thats where the steam comes in. i moved into a new apartment recently and they were some stains on the hardwood that had supposedly been there for a LONG time.
i use the spray mop and steam combo, combined with a little elbow grease got out all the stains in about 10 - 15 minutes. If your are gonna get this item, make sure you get a nice cleaning solution for the spray mop. how much does a roomba vacuum cleaner costIt comes with a disposable attachment but i did not figure out how to use it with the out of box configuration so i used the cloth which is machine wash ready. vacuum cleaner reviews simplicityI am guessing that during its time in the wash i will possibly use the disposables. black & decker vacuum cleaner modelsthe combination of steam and spray mop is genius and should be the standard (the hot steam has to be good for reducing germs or pathogens).
the result is a floor which looks like it was professionally cleaned. Yes (4) No (0)  Report Yes (4) No (0) Today I have the chance to review The Dirt Devil 2 in 1 Steam + Clean With Swipes. When I got it I opened the box. I saw that I need no tools for the assembly. All the parts just snapped together. The Dirt Devil Steam Clean came with everything I needed Including two free swipes. That are washing machine friendly for cleaning the swipes. Just throw then in the washer on gentle cycle. All you need to buy is cleaning solution. That can be bought where ever Dirt Devil products are sold. I like the fact that the Steam and Clean comes with a twenty foot cord. That will give you a good range to move around the house. For light cleaning jobs you don't have to plug it in. Just spray and clean. For heavy steam cleaning you can plugin it in and turn it on. The switch to turn it on is located on the left hand side on the body of the cleaner, An LED indicator light located on the front of the cleaner will light up when the Steam and Clean is ready to go.
The cleaner has three modes you can use Spray, Steam, or both depending on your cleaning job needs. There's two solution containers on the cleaner. One is located on the back of the cleaner for water. The other container is located on the from top of the cleaner. For adding Dirt Devil Cleaning solution. I like the fact that it comes with a clog resistant spray nozzle on the front. And the quick turn swivel steering, flexible edges cleans flat surfaces, baseboards, And corners . You can add accessories. Like more more wet and dry swipes and disposable wet and dry swipes along with a variety of cleaning solutions to meet your cleaning needs. This is my second Dirt Devil product I've owned. I very happy with both of my Dirt Devil products. I will buy more Dirt Devil products in the future. I hope you find this review helpful. When your thinking about purchasing a good steam cleaner system that has easy assembly. And is easy to use. I have a lot of animals (9 cats, 2 dogs) and live in the country, so my floors are always hairy, dirty, etc. After opening the box and making sure all the parts were there - as far as I could tell, they were, although there was not a parts list in the manual - I put the steam cleaner together which took less than 5 minutes. Instructions to do this were clear and understandable. After sweeping a portion of my kitchen floor per the instructions (Photo #1 is the "before" picture of the floor), I filled the steam chamber with water using the cup that comes with the steamer, put some plain water in the bottle as the only cleaner I had was chlorine bleach - wasn't sure if it would ruin the inside so declined to use it - plugged in the steamer, turned it on, and waited until the green light came on signaling the steamer was ready to use. This only took about 30 seconds. A couple of things I was not clear on as far as how to use this steamer, as they were not covered in the manual: 1. It says to "fill solution tank with cleaner" - however, it doesn't say what if any cleaners you shouldn't use with this steamer or if you should dilute the cleaning solution with water, etc. 2.
It says for cleaning without steam, pull the trigger to dispense the cleaner but don't plug in the cleaner. However, it doesn't say if you use the cleaner WITH the steamer, i.e., pull the trigger to dispense the cleaner on the floor and THEN use the steamer to mop it all up. Anyway, I used the steamer on the dirtiest part of my kitchen floor. It did a much better job than using just a regular mop. Because I used only water, and not any kind of cleaner/detergent, and also because my kitchen floor is not only old but very, very damaged (thanks to the claws of the animals) it probably didn't clean it completely but it WAS better. As you can see by the pad, it was really, really filthy (Photo #2) and you can see the cleaner floor in front of the mop head, along with the dirty floor that I didn't use the steamer on behind the mop head. I can't wait to try it with the cleaner! I also like the swipes that came with them, as I do have just a plain Dirt Devil swiper and the disposable swipes fit both of these sweepers/mops.
Although it was really steaming, the floor cooled off immediately. and once I turned off the steamer it cooled off immediately as well. I am really happy with this purchase and believe I'll get many years of service from this steamer. It is more than worth the price and saves on time mopping and re-mopping to loosen up the dirt off the floor - I only have to steam clean it once and it's DONE!!! Plus with the steam this sanitizes the floor more than just using a mop. Yes () No (0)  Report Yes () No (0) This is a device that would be pretty good to use a couple times a week. It came with one reusable washable pad and two disposable pads. I used the washable pad first and it got pretty dirty really quick so I had to throw it into the wash, now one think I think I should mention is when you wash the reusable pad make sure you lay it out to dry and not put into the dryer they do seem to shrink a bit. It did fit but now quite as well. Personally, I would have preferred a pad that had scrubber on it to assist the steam in it’s job, at least for the hard to tackle spots.
