Our Dyson ball is lighter and easier to get under things like the cabinets, but the extension cord is extremely short. This vacuum appears to have the same suction as our other two although it is more particular about the carpet i vacuum. It is super user friendly and I absolutely feel the place is clean when i am done vacuuming. We use it on hardwood and carpet and it does a fantastic job from what i can tell in our new place. I would recommend this vacuum to friends or family. We also have two dogs and it has no problem keeping up with their hair.

They are boxers so the hair is shorter but it picks up fine.Condition: Newby Great productThis is but the latest in a succession of Dyson products I have had over several years. My last vacuum cleaner was not a Dyson, based upon a reliable recommendation. After many problems with it, I decided to go back to the brand I trusted, and I have not been disappointed. My only minor issue is its weight, but I think that Dyson now make several lighter models. There are many "me too" products now on the market, but the only thing they have going for them is price. Pay what it takes to own a Dyson: You'll not regret it.Condition: Newby Great Vacuum! Well worth the price!This is a great vacuum! The DC33 has a lot of power and suction as Dyson claims. This vacuum feels solid and works great on pet hair. I have deep pile carpet and I was surprised to see how much hair and dust the vacuum captured that was left behind after using my other vacuum. You can see through the collection bin and the results are surprising.

The dust bin is easy to empty and clean. I like the fact the filters are reusable and easily cleanable with a rinse. The only thing I don't really care for is the cleaning head. It's a bit high to get underneath furniture and beds. However, the attachments are easily accessed and the wand is long enough and the suction is powerful to thoroughly clean way under furniture, hard to reach spaces and above floor areas. It ended up being used as a construction site vacuum then a mold eradication vacuum because of it's Hepa filter, and it ended up needing to be tossed out. I've tried others and hated the short cords, short hoses, and poor performance.

Owning a Dyson DC33 at home is one of the best decisions that I have ever made. My family and I are able to breathe clean and smell-free air in our home. It takes out all the hair and dander in one sweep. The only issue that I have with this product has to do with the wand (I found out that other customers also have the same issue with this unit – you can check out their own vacuum reviews if you wish).
