Let’s be honest: Black Friday is about getting the best deals on things for yourself just as much as it is about finding holiday gifts for family and friends. Retailers realize that, too, and that’s why each year more and more home appliances are offered at big discounts. This year, stores like , , and are discounting Dyson vacuums, and since a vacuum is something we all need (though may not love to shop for), Black Friday can be a great time of year to check it off your list. I am a vacuum snob and have owned many from Hoover, Eureka to Orek. This Dyson is by far my favorite. It is easy to push and manure, it really picks up debris and dirt from the carpet leaving the carpet looking groomed and clean. It is easy for my kids to use and it has a really long cord so you don't have to constantly finding a different place to plug it in at. My Dyson works well for picking up the pet hair from carpet, hard wood floors, furniture and throw pillows. The only down side it that is it a little heavy to drag upstairs, but everything else about tho vacuum is awesome which makes it worth owning, I found a great Black Friday price so I bought one for upstairs. Make sure that you clean your filters and let them air dry every few months, it really helps and it is super easy to do. Overall, this is the best vacuum I have ever owned and can't imagine buying anything else. Yes () No () Report Yes () No () Verified purchaser Verified purchaser This is a fantastic sweeper.

robot vacuum cleaner in usaNo fuss or mess! Yes (2) No (0) Report Yes (2) No (0) Verified purchaser Verified purchaser We purchased this vacuum (DC33), as our old DC14 FINALLY started to poop out on us (after 11 years!!). We loved our DC14 so much, and wanted to get a Dyson that was most like it, which the DC33 fit. This seems to be the last of the Dyson vacuums without the 'ball' thing that helps navigate. My only complaint is that the wand on the new vacuum (DC33) is plasic; the DC14 had an aluminum wand.

I can see it perhaps breaking if handled too roughly. Seriously though, I cannot see that happening unless you are sword fighting with it, or are EXTREMELY careless. I love it so far!!! Also, the cord is very nice. We have a big house, so 30 feet is VERY welcome Yes (2) No (0) Report Yes (2) No (0) Verified purchaser Someone else just said this was heavy-what? I just traded up from a Eureka which said it had suction like a Dyson. First thing I used was the tool to clean my futon top-WOW. This is my first Dyson and I am SATISFIED to the big time. My Eureka was heavy and LOUD. I was looking at all the Dyson's online and was having a hard time deciding which one to get. But the price on this one (DC33) was the best, and the tools fit on it. It said the ball one-you had to carry the tools separately and sometimes the ball was a little weird to get used to. I will give my outdated Eureka props because my first clean up of the carpet was about the same in the canister but the tool suction was at least 10 times stronger-I'm not kidding.

And the Dyson says you can remove the filter and wash-you can't do that on the Eureka-have to buy a new one. So thank you Dyson!! Yes () No () Report Yes () No () We just got the new Dyson DC 33 a month ago and he has made such a difference in how clean the carpets floors are that I so wish you would have gone when years ago!! I even made a video of what it looks like once I had vacuumed our floor with our regular vacuum and then re-vacuumed it right away with the Dyson you would not believe how much dirt and fibers it picked up that we're still carpet!! http://youtu.be/bKec2fA5RZ8 I cannot believe how much dirt we were still living on every day at even after I had vacuumed. Dyson is more powerful and it's easier to push and I just love it. My husband was especially thrilled to find out you could get the hardwood floor adapter to vacuum our bathroom floors said that all of our hair would not get caught up in the brush of the vacuum, which is a problem that we continuously have ever years with all of our vacuum cleaners because my daughter and I have long hair.

We got our Dyson at Walmart when it had gone on sale for $250 and we could not be happier about this purchase!! Yes () No () Report Yes () No () My wife loves Dysons and this one works as well as the DC 17 she literally wore out. The trouble is where the handle attaches at the quick disconnect on the main body (duct body $94) the plastic is quite thin. If you tend to be a bit rough on things or carry it up and down stairs at all you will probably break it and there is NO was to repair it. To fix this you must strip it completely down to mount the new body and it is ugly to do. We have broken 2 of these just in normal use in under 2 years and the replacement body I purchased was a real Dyson part. It's just too much stress on a thin piece of plastic. Get a better model, preferably with the aluminum hose like the 17 and you won't have to worry about this. Nice unit but it has a very big fatal flaw. Carefully look at where the handle / wand engages the body of the machine and you will see exactly what I mean.

Great investment so far. Would definitely buy again. Yes (1) No (0) Report Yes (1) No (0) Verified purchaser Verified purchaser Love my Dyson! My 1st one lasted 10 years, it still works, but suction of old one isn't quite like the new one. Easy to work on when you need to clean it too! Yes (1) No (0) Report Yes (1) No (0) Verified purchaser Verified purchaser I am so happy with this purchase! I had no idea how gross my floors were until this baby came along and sucked up three years of dust and pet hair that my old hunk of junk left behind. The carpet feels fluffier and the house just "feels" cleaner. The cord is so long that I don't have to constantly unplug and plug it in. . .that's a time saver. The canister is easy to remove and empty. It took me a while to figure out the tool set up, but that might not be the fault of the vacuum.
