It isn't as quiet as I would have thought for being called "hush", but still I didn't really expect a vacuum to be all that quiet.We bought this in December and within 5 hours of using it, it stopped working. Power just went off. Later it did work again, but not as well. We contacted Webstaurant and after sending emails describing what happened, were finally told we needed to contact Hoover. Well, unfortunately that has been a joke. First I left a message to ask for a call back....didn't get one, she said they are having problems with that.....then, I needed to do troubleshooting with her on the phone, so I had to go into town and retrieve the vacuum. She told me if that doesn't work I have to take it to a service center for repairs, but the closest one to us in an hour away! So, I called back with the vacuum on site and again long hold times, so finally I entered my phone number in to have another call back....that was last week!! Called Webstaurant back last night and they refuse to help in any way and my only hope is with Hoover.....not happy!

Also, so others know, this vacuum cleaner does NOT have a cord on it!! You have to plug in an extension cord to it. Poor purchase on my part! Will follow up on review once I actually get to speak with Hoover. Super sad with Webstaurants customer service on this one. It's easy to transport and has amazing suction and capacity... I was amazed at how clean it got out floor mats! This is one of the best vacuum cleaners I have worked with. It is light, the suction is great, and it is easy to empty. Having a bagless commercial vacuum was one of the important criteria when I was looking to buy a vacuum cleaner, and this machine is a life saver. This hoover bagless vacuum with tools really gets the job done.

We bought two new ones and there is no comparison to our other ones. The Hoover bagless Hush Vacuum Cleaner with Tools. it is a great vacuum, and so quiet. I love the fact it is bagless, but also has a hepy filter to keep us allergy free. Excellent vacuum, highly recommend! Not for bare floors as beater bar is always running and would probably wear it out fast. Dust cup easy to empty and filter easy to clean and change. We just bought our second and third today based off of the performance from our first. We have become huge fans of Hoover products, first with their backpack vac and now this product. The bagless system is very economical and the HEPA filter keeps the dirt where is should stay. The vacuum has tremendous strength, something you could not get from a non-commercial unit and is surprising for the price.
