The HomeCare also includes a combination floor tool and a HEPA filter. About the Miele Compact C2 Onyx The C2 Onyx ships with a Parquet Twister floor tool and a Turbobrush, but lacks a HEPA filter. Miele’s C2 Series (MSRP $399–749) can get them clean. The models in the C2 line are lightweight but equipped with the same powerful motor, and our tests show they’re good at clearing short carpet and hardwood floors.

There’s only one caveat: Most models are only compatible with Miele's TurboBrush carpet head. Since it’s powered by air and not an electric motor, it doesn’t work well on very deep rugs. There are six different vacuums in the Miele C2 Series. We only recommend one for high pile carpet: the Compact C2 Topaz (MSRP $749).
