I have this model and it has been great this past year but recently every time I turn on the vacuum, it sucks (like it's supposed to) and it blows air from the blowing port. How can I fix this problem so only one of these features works at a time (separately)?miele vacuum cleaners models There is nothing wrong with your blowing feature. best miele vacuum cleaner for carpetin order for the motor to be able to create suction, it has to both intake air and exhaust air. jual filter vacuum cleanerAs with any vac you have ever owner, there is always an exhaust, the blower is the exhaust.Just the same as when you remove the top to use just the blower, there is an intake ontop of the motor which if you put your hand there, you will feel the suction.
Your vac is functioning as it should. All vacuums of this type take in air though one inlet (where the hose is normally connected), run it into the can through the filter and then expel it through the outlet (the blowing port). If I understand your question correctly, your vac is working as it should. Strictly speaking, it is air in, air out, -We would like to let you know that there is no way to stop the blowing feature of the vac because the vac is design to blow air at same time while you are vacuuming. Air will be drawn into the vacuum through the suction port and exit through the blower port. The debris that has been picked up by the vacuum should be captured by the filter. With the correct filter properly installed, only clean air would be exiting the exhaust. We hope this information helps. Have a great day!It is supposed to have an 'exhaust'. Any motor designed to blow or suck will do both at the same time. Stopping or blocking one will disable the other. The motor must exhaust air from the unit.
Home Depot sells a "diffuser" for $12 it just attaches to the the exhaust port an helps out tremendously. Don't think it can be fixed to run separate, in all the vacs I found they all do this run the blowing and sucking together. Like all vacuums, the blower motor, which creates vacuum, must have a way to remove the air from the canister in order to pick-up material. The "exhaust" port on your vacuum, in the last few years, has been engineered to be used as a "blower" when the suction hose is attached. The filter, we use the micron filter that is available, must be installed and will produce almost perfectly clean air to push item or dirt across any surface. So the blowing out of air at the exhaust port is normal. If it's not blowing strongly, the filter is in need of replacement or cleaning. Most filters can be washed and dried and reused several times. You must always be aware of the direction of the discharge air in order to prevent make a larger "mess" to clean up. It has a inlet port for vacum and exhaust port .you can not have one with out the other.
