It did an excellent job at cleaning up debris from the bottom of the pool. I did not cover my pool this past winter, and had large amounts of dirt on the bottom. The Lil Shark had trouble getting these heavy or fine particle spots. I had spent the extra $$$ and purchased the robotic Rover Jr to get to these problem areas. It too missed the areas. The shark did cover the entire portion of our 24' above ground pool. The Rover Jr did not. I would certainly recommend the Lil Shark to anyone as it performs nicely. I am sticking with the Lil Shark and returning the Rover Jr.

i have an inground pool...yes inground...this thing works better than my polaris for inground pools...no pump needed!!! just put in the skimmer and away it goes...i live on a dirt road...great for the sand at the bottom of the pool...so save yourself money and get one of these instead if the expensive pool cleaners...and yes yes yes...it works better :O) It is a busy little thing and picks up a lot of debris both large and small. I have a 6' dished out bottom in my above ground pool and it has a bit of a hard time getting out of the deep end. I think I can adjust it to climb better. I will just play with it to see. It is also a snap to hook it onto a pole and use it as a hand vacuum. How much hose does it come with? How does the Lil’ Shark clean my pool? What type of pool does this work on? Cleaner moves slowly or not at all. Backwash and clean filter. Clear debris from oscillator or hose. If hoses from skimmer to filter and back to pool are less than 1-1/2"diameter, replace with 1-1/2"hoses.

Make sure vacuum regulator is installed. (the regulator marked “50” will slow it the most). If your system has a return valve, gradually close it until oscillator runs at the desired speed.
