The model number is printed on a silver sticker on the upper right-hand corner of the back of the unit. Models NV650W and NV652 are maroon. Model NV650W is sold directly to consumers by Euro-Pro and model NV652 is sold at retail stores.  Models NV651 and NV660 are purple and are sold at retail stores.  The date code is printed on the metal prong of the power plug and shows the week and year of manufacture in the WWYY format.
