vacuum cleaner reviews vax

click image to enlargeThe Vax AirRevolve is a cylinder 24cm across -36cm with connection to cleaner head- 40cm long. This might sound confusing as it can be used either on its wheels – the cylinder ends – when it pulls along like a conventional pulled unit or on its end which is ideal for things like cleaning stairs as it can sit on a stair and just be moved as you move up. There is a maximum of two metres between cleaner and head. However another 25cm is available by a telescopic movement in the handle. There are two different motors one in the cleaner which would normally be behind you and is ideal for hard floors or very short carpets and a second – far noisier – unit which turns the brushes in the head and gives a very deep clean and raises the pile of the carpet. As adjustment of how powerful is on the connection arm between the cleaner and the head and believe me on full power you need a strong arm as it’s hard to move on a heavy pile carpet but the amount of dirt and grit it extracts is amazing, not surprisingly this is a ‘Pet’ product and even after a very short test the amount of muck in the visible storage compartment was large.
You have an efficient filtration with Hera filter as well so little gets into the atmosphere. The container is easy to empty. While this is a pull along unit it is more like an upright with a solid arm. The three parts of clip together only one way which to me is a great plus as there is power going to the head the fittings run down one side and so the unit cannot be connected incorrectly.samsung handy vacuum cleaner There are extra brushes for those who need to clean upholstery etc. and these two fit easily.good car vacuum cleaner singapore So far all good news, I found the six metre lead a little short so I had to move the lead to different sockets when with an eight metre lead I could reach everything from one central point.vacuum cleaner untuk rumah
I must admit I do not understand the energy rating of ‘AAAA’ but if it works the same way as fridges and freezers etc. then that sounds excellent. When you move from carpet to hard floors just touch the smaller button on the handle and you have comparative peace as the brush in the head stops revolving and you have just the suction to pick up dust and crumbs etc. My initial thoughts were that it is a little ungamely rolling behind you but providing you have pathways through clutter then things work well, you will also increase your strength as using it on full power really will require a good push. Samsung Cyclone Force Multi SC07F80HAThe Vax Dual Power Pro Advance Carpet Cleaner is an incredibly powerful, deep-cleaning and quick-drying carpet washer. It includes a DualTECH cleaning system which agitates and lifts deep down, embedded dirt. The machine also features a SpinScrub hand tool, plus a stretch hose for washing upholstery and stairs. Having put the machine to the test in our office, we’ve decided to award the cleaner with a score of 8 out of 10. Our plan is to put the carpet cleaner to the test! Our meeting room carpet is looking a little worse for wear, so we’re going to give it a good seeing to with the Vax cleaner. You can purchase the Vax Dual Power Pro Advance Carpet Cleaner online for £199.96 from Vax.co.uk So what do you get in the box? A surprising amount of kit! Here are the full contents: When you first open the box you may be overwhelmed by all the different parts, but putting the machine together is a breeze because all the pieces just click into place.
We set it up rather quickly and admired what a smart looking machine it was. It was time to test it out for ourselves! Our meeting room (where all the magic happens) has a lot of tea stains on the floor. They’ve been there for a while and everyone seems to be conveniently walking over them, having ignored them for a long time. This seemed the perfect place to test the Vax out. After dry-vacuuming the carpet, Anushka and I decided that these stains have been there for SO long, that one quick wash will not be enough. This job clearly needs the intriguing ‘pre-treatment wand’ which can help to remove stubborn stains. We poured the required amount in, tightened the cap and then filled the clean water tank with warm water. Attaching the pre-treatment wand (sounds pretty magical doesn’t it?), we then turned it on, then held the trigger spraying all over those pesky stains. Obeying the bottle instructions, we waited 15 minutes for the solution to do its work. The Hose & SpinScrub tool
After patiently waiting, the fun really began! We poured the cleaning solution into the tank along with some warm water. Turning the dial to wash, we attached the hose connector and slid the SpinScrub tool over the end of the hose listening out for the click. We plugged it into the mains and then turned it on. Pressing the trigger to release the solution and water, we then moved the tool over the carpet. An exciting part of the cleaning process was watching the water tank fill with dirty water. As well as being completely disgusting, it was pretty incredible how much dirt the Vax was bringing up from the carpet. That certainly wasn’t just tea stains! Sensitive folk, please look away now… It’s actually quite a thrilling thing to see, you know the Vax is working and you know you’ve done a geat job getting it clean. The machine also has an ‘auto mix tank’ so any of the solution you don’t need, can be poured straight back into the bottle – waste not, want not.
Anushka and I decided to go over it again with just the machine. For best results, the instruction booklet told us to use ‘slow straight parallel strokes’ along with intermittent dry forward strokes to increase the water pick up, so that’s exactly what we did. A negative point to bring up that it is a rather large machine and a little bulky. However, it is surprisingly easy to move, so if you’re small in stature like we are, don’t worry too much about being able to use it. The carpet wasn’t soaking, but it was wet. If you’re doing a large area try saving it for a hot day to help with drying. Here’s what you’ve been waiting for… a photo of a carpet the next day! The tea stains have gone, much to the delight of some of our office inhabitants. Before we go into the pros and cons, I have to mention the handtool and washtool – this is so you can clean the stairs, ulphostery and car interiors. The machine also has seperate wash and rinse modes so you can rinse your carpets after the initial go for an even deeper clean.
The machine also has an extra-large tank which means you can clean for longer. You’ll be truly surprised by the power of this machine. While it is heavy, it certainly means business. The cleaner will suck up so much dirt you’ll be shocked at how you’ve been living! If you were thinking about getting new carpets then wait, give the Vax a chance at them first and you might just change your mind. It’s the perfect chance for you to renew them and it will feel like you’ve just moved in again. One thing I will say if love the sound of this cleaner, have a think about where you want to store it before you buy. It’s a big piece of equipment and you’re not likely to be using it as much as standard vacuum cleaner. Overall the Vax Dual Power Pro Advance Carpet Cleaner is a powerful and exciting piece of kit. Give it a go and enjoy the ‘ooohs’ and ‘ahhhs’ when you see the dirty water tank! For all of the reasons above, we’ve decided to award the Vax Dual Power Pro Advance Carpet Cleaner 8/10.
