Curry PC World today got the promotions under way with its Black Tag Event, offering 10 days of “stunning deals” online and in stores. There are more than 3,000 discounts on top brands including Samsung, LG, Bosch, Sony and Dyson. These include the Samsung UE60JU6000 Smart Ultra HD 4k 60" LED TV reduced by £600 from £1,499 to £899.

The 50-inch version - Samsung UE50JU6800 Smart Ultra HD 4k 50" LED TV - has been discounted by just over £300 from £999 to £698. On larger screen sizes, you can get an even bigger discount but these TVs are more pricey overall. The Samsung SUHD UE65JS9000 Smart 3D 4k Ultra HD 65" Curved LED TV is reduced by £1,000 from £3,999 to £2,999. LG’s equivalent has double the discount. The LG 65EG960V Smart 3D Ultra HD 4k 65" Curved OLED TV is down from £5,999 to £3,999, a drop of £2,000. The Samsung ecobubble 8kg washing machine has been reduced by £200 from £499.99 to £299. And Samsung’s RSA1UTMG American-Style Fridge Freezer (Metal Graphite) is now £599, a saving of just over £330 on the original price of £929.99. The Delonghi Dolce Gusto Jovia EDG250 Hot Drinks Machine, in black or red, is down from £69.99 to £29. The Dyson V6 Total Clean Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is reduced by just over £150, from £429.99 to £279. The HP 15-ac151sa 15.6" Laptop (Silver, 2TB storage, 8GB memory) has been reduced by just over £200.
