We got it for the upstairs bedrooms to save bringing the larger one up but we now take it downstairs and do everything!!

However... it's not very big and I'm 6' and have to push it in a rather stooped manner. The cable doesn't really get far into other rooms and the dust compartment fills up very quickly. Sometimes the dust gets into the upper section (above a 'cone') and I have to rake it out with a bit of wire. We shouldn't be asking it to do more than it's capable of I suppose. The vacuum cleaner has excellent suction....too much even!!! Because it has so much, the fact that you cannot raise or lower the height means it just sucks itself onto the hard floor/lino or dense pile carpet. This means you severely struggle to push it around on hard floors. If the height could have been adjusted, this would of allowed some of the suction to be reduced, thus reducing the effect. It's a great cleaner other than that. Great suction but very small hose Cleans really well but both the hose and sure are shirt so makes stairs a pain. It would be fantastic if these were made longer. Disappointed as it makes that difficult job even more difficult

Small compact and light just as described. Only reason for not giving 5 star is the handle, as it feels too low and I'm only 5ft 6. this hoover is great on hard floors, but very hard to use on carpets cable is too short .also suction pipe too short when using with accessories. good suction but find it difficult to pull back and move around .replaced this for my ten year old dyson because it was to heavy,would return if possible and buy a new dyson.? click on image to enlarge Vax VX3 Pet Cylinder Vacuum.
