It also picks up spilled water and even small floods made by leaving the water running in the kitchen sink. I found this confusing to use and it didn't work nearly as well as I had expected. This is a terrible product that I recently returned. I used it only once and knew that it had to be returned. It is too small to be a wet and dry cleaner. Great quick way to clean your floors without a lot of work. Very functional in many ways!!!!! Does a really good job on my ceramic tile floors. Not much of a vacuum but I didn't buy it for that purpose. I was so happy to see this,having 2 dogs and new wood floors. This only worked for use 5 X ! I thought it would do a better job of scrubbing the floor but does not leave streaks and picks up the dirty water. Uses more of the cleaning solution than I would like.
