All it does it pick up small pebbles and blow dust all over. It does not filter the air at all.The "powerful" motor just isn't there. Maybe all 12 volt car vacuums are just as weak? This vacuum is very noisy. I strongly suggest using hearing protectors when it is on. It has much less suction than one would expect, especially given the noise it makes.My expectations were in line with what I received. Not much vacuum force but then, for the price.
