Wet and dry vacuum cleaner / single-phase / industrial / 2-motor 2300 W (3.08 hp) 80 l (21.13 gal) The Mistral 802 Pump is a compact vacuum for rapid collection and disposal of liquids, thanks to an inbuilt electrical pump: Powered by two by-pass motors, carbon brush type, providing a rapid cooling of the motor in case of overheating. The motors are installed inside a sturdy steel head, with noise reducing PVC cover. The liquid is first vacuumed into a 100 lt. stainless steel container; when the container is filled up, a mechanical floating device (including a fibre filter to capture oil mist and vapours) stops the suction. It is then possible to discharge the liquid by means of a powerful immersion pump (placed inside the collection container), which enables a rapid emptying of the container once it is full. At the end of the discharge cycle, almost no liquid is left in the container, the pump stops automatically. In case of need for faster service, it is also possible to carry out vacuuming and pumping operations at the same time.

Even though it is aggressive, dry ice blast cleaning is absolutely safe to use on production equipment, printing presses, robotic lines, electric motors, fans, walls, floors, etc. It will not etch most substrate materials being cleaned and leaves behind no additional waste or residue. There is nothing added to the waste or contaminant being cleaned because the blast medium turns into a harmless gas (CO2 ) as it strikes the surface and evaporates into the atmosphere.

And, since dry ice blast cleaning disinfects too, it is perfect for use in food and drug processing facilities -- even for cleaning containers as a last step prior to product packaging. Dry ice blast cleaning is superior to sandblasting because it does not erode or wear away the targeted surface as traditional grit media and wire brushes do. This means that surface integrity and critical tolerances are preserved and equipment will not have to be replaced due to surface erosion common with sand, glass beads and other abrasive media.
