The description of this vacuum above clearly states under "Features" that this model has Scroll Noise Reduction. That is item #7. So, it would appear that this model does have the Scroll Noise Reduction feature.While waiting for an answer, I went ahead and ordered, and received, this vacuum. Based on the amount of noise it makes, or rather doesn't make, I would say that it does indeed have the Scroll Noise Reduction.It is relatively quiet for such a powerful vacuum. As I intend to use it in public places, that is important to me.I am rather disappointed in the inaccuracy of the previous answers, and am glad I didn't wait to make a purchasing decision based on their information. Please be informed that the WD4522 (Pro Pack vac) has no Scroll Noise Reduction. None of our Portable 4 gallon vacs have the Scroll Noise Reduction Feature.We hope this information helps.
