Used the scrubber brush head on some dried stains with excellent results on the higher setting. This machine is AMAZING!! I wish I had purchased one many years prior, it would have saved me hours of trying to scrub stains from carpets. This is great for cleaning up accidents on the rug. Completely automatic just set the machine on the spot.I just wish Bissell would give you at least additional bottles of shampoo or one big size so you won't run out when you're working on ridding your carpet of a stain on... Really cleans - so well I ended up shampooing my entire carpet as the Spotbot left wonderfully clean circles where my puppy had accidents while house training which indicated my... I thought this would be a good investment. Unfortunately it is awful when it comes to sucking up the water. My floor is soaked when it's finished.

There’s no going around it, unless you train your pets to do their business in a specific area this will be a cycle.The key here is not only cleaning up urine but also removing odor. If your pet still picks up the odor, chances are they’ll take a piss on that same area over and over again. It’s their way of “marking their territory”, a little animal psychology is in play here.

When you spot fresh urine, remove it as quickly as possible. This will lessen the odor and stain afterwards. Use a stack of paper towels and/or newspapers to absorb urine. Experts recommend that you stand on this stack for around a minute so that it absorbs as much as possible.
