These two Panasonic vacuums have a lot in common. In fact, they have many parts that are identical.Let me start with what they both have in common...Both of these vacuums are well made. They both come with the same excellent, metal, telescoping wands/uprights that collapse down to 33 inches and extend out to 45 inches, including the handle. The telescoping adjustment mechanism is excellent and it works well. It makes it easy to adjust the wand/upright to just the length/height you're comfortable with. The wand also carries a small accessory caddy near the top which holds the included crevice tool and the dusting brush attachments. The wand attaches to the vacuum handle and carpet head easily, precisely and positively.
It can be detached from either end with the press of a button allowing you to easily attach/detach to/from the carpet head or accessories, allowing you to use the vacuum as a duster or floor vac. Both of these vacuums also come with similar, but not identical, air powered, "pet" brushes, which help to remove stuck on pet hair from furniture. As I have no pets, I cannot judge the effectiveness of the pet brushes. They both have the same, heavy duty, professional hose that is both tough and very flexible. It extends 67 inches (including the attached handle). It also attaches/detaches easily to the vacuum canister, the wand, and accessories. The integrated handle is ergonomic and easy to hold. The sliding power switch has three positions, on, on with beater bar and off. There is a small "suction control" ring which allows you to decrease suction when using the vacuum on things like drapes, clothing and other items you would not want to suck into the vaccum. It works, but you still have to be careful when using the vacuum on delicate items.
That said, I'm also not thrilled with the placement of the suction control ring as you can easly trip it without knowing, decreasing suction when you don't mean to.They both have outwardly identical, wheeled canisters that are stable and easy to move with large wheels. The canister portion contains the vacuum motor, the power cord, the detachable dust bin and the air filters. The power cord is a very long (and difficult to measure) 24 feet! It unreels easily by pulling it from the canister and retracts quickly and fully with the press of a button. Be careful not to let the plug hit you on the way in! The plug is of the two prong variety. The dust bin detaches easily from the canister with the lift of it's handle. It kind of reminds me of a large thermos with the way you can carry it around using the handle. It empties easily by unsnapping the bottom lid and because of the "JetForce" design, it holds more dust and dirt than you might think as it seems to compact it down towards the bottom of the canister, which also makes it easier to empty.
The canister can be easily and completely disassembed for cleaning if you wish and it contains one of the two air filters - the washable one. The dust bin reattaches easily and positively to the canister when done. Finally, the canister also has a drawer containing the second, replaceable, HEPA air filter. As both of these canister vacuums have so much in common, they both handle well, they turn well, and they require less effort to use than a full upright vacuum which carries all of its weight with every stroke. vacuum cleaners in walmartSince much of the weight of these vacuums are in the canister, they may be easier for older folks to use.buddy vacuum cleanersAs similar as they are, these two sibling vacuums differ in three key areas...buy zanussi vacuum cleaner
First, the MC-CL943 (blue) has an 11 amp motor vs the MC-CL945's (red) 12 amp motor. In reality, that is not a big deal. They both offer excellent suction and the difference between the 11 and 12 amp motors is hardly noticable, if at all.Second, the MC-CL943 currently sells for about $300 vs the MC-CL945, which currently sells for about $350. So these are both expensive vacuums, and for me, a $50 price difference isn't enough to justify purchasing the less expensive 943, especially when you consider the third and most important difference...The third and most important difference between these two vacuums is the carpet head that each one ships with. To put it simply, the MC-CL943 (blue) ships with a vacuum head that may as well be a toy when compared with the vacuum head that ships with the MC-CL945 (red). The head on the 943 is made for light duty, hard floors and light carpets at best. It's useful suction area is less than 8" wide. Although it has an electrically motorized beater bar (which can be turned on or off), it is so small and light that it cannot handle carpeting well at all.
Whereas the head on the 945 is 14" wide, it is substantial and useful on every surface from hard floors to plush carpeting. It too, has an electrically motorized beater bar that can be switched on or off from the power switch, but unlike the the smaller head on the 943, the head of the 945 also has a mechanical height adjustment - so you can set it for low to no carpet to high carpets. With this in mind and after using both vacuums extensively, I simply cannot recommend the MC-CL943. Although it is slightly less expensive, and it has only a slightly less powerful motor, the vacuum head that it comes with is simply useless on carpeting. Even if you only have hard floors in your home, the much wider head on the MC-CL945 makes cleaning the same area much faster, plus you get the versatility of having the capability to clean plush carpets if the occassion presents itself. If you have carpeting, then there is no choice, get the MC-CL945.Panasonic is perfectWhat's this? Why am I seeing this page?
404 means the file is not found. If you have already uploaded the file then the name may be misspelled or it is in a different folder. You may get a 404 error for images because you have Hot Link Protection turned on and the domain is not on the list of authorized domains. If you go to your temporary url (http://ip/~username/) and get this error, there maybe a problem with the rule set stored in an .htaccess file. You can try renaming that file to .htaccess-backup and refreshing the site to see if that resolves the issue. It is also possible that you have inadvertently deleted your document root or the your account may need to be recreated. Either way, please contact your web host immediately. Are you using WordPress? See the Section on 404 errors after clicking a link in WordPress. How to find the correct spelling and folder Missing or Broken Files When you get a 404 error be sure to check the URL that you are attempting to use in your browser. This tells the server what resource it should attempt to request.
In this example the file must be in public_html/example/Example/ Notice that the CaSe is important in this example. On platforms that enforce case-sensitivity example and Example are not the same locations. /example/Example/ and the names are case-sensitive. When you have a missing image on your site you may see a box on your page with with a red X where the image is missing. Right click on the X and choose Properties. The properties will tell you the path and file name that cannot be found. This varies by browser, if you do not see a box on your page with a red X try right clicking on the page, then select View Page Info, and goto the Media Tab. In this example the image file must be in public_html/cgi-sys/images/On platforms that enforce case-sensitivity PNG and png are not the same locations. 404 Errors After Clicking WordPress Links When working with WordPress, 404 Page Not Found errors can often occur when a new theme has been activated or when the rewrite rules in the .htaccess file have been altered.
When you encounter a 404 error in WordPress, you have two options for correcting it. Option 1: Correct the Permalinks Log in to WordPress. From the left-hand navigation menu in WordPress, click Settings > Permalinks (Note the current setting. If you are using a custom structure, copy or save the custom structure somewhere.) Change the settings back to the previous configuration (before you selected Default). Put the custom structure back if you had one. This will reset the permalinks and fix the issue in many cases. If this doesn't work, you may need to edit your .htaccess file directly. Option 2: Modify the .htaccess File Add the following snippet of code to the top of your .htaccess file: RewriteRule ^index.php$ - [L] If your blog is showing the wrong domain name in links, redirecting to another site, or is missing images and style, these are all usually related to the same problem: you have the wrong domain name configured in your WordPress blog.
How to modify your .htaccess file The .htaccess file contains directives (instructions) that tell the server how to behave in certain scenarios and directly affect how your website functions. Redirects and rewriting URLs are two very common directives found in a .htaccess file, and many scripts such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla and Magento add directives to the .htaccess so those scripts can function. It is possible that you may need to edit the .htaccess file at some point, for various reasons. This section covers how to edit the file in cPanel, but not what may need to be changed.(You may need to consult other articles and resources for that information.) There are Many Ways to Edit a .htaccess File Edit the file on your computer and upload it to the server via FTP Use an FTP program's Edit Mode Use SSH and a text editor Use the File Manager in cPanel The easiest way to edit a .htaccess file for most people is through the File Manager in cPanel.
How to Edit .htaccess files in cPanel's File Manager Before you do anything, it is suggested that you backup your website so that you can revert back to a previous version if something goes wrong. Open the File Manager In the Files section, click on the File Manager icon. Check the box for Document Root for and select the domain name you wish to access from the drop-down menu. Make sure Show Hidden Files (dotfiles)" is checked. The File Manager will open in a new tab or window. Look for the .htaccess file in the list of files. You may need to scroll to find it. To Edit the .htaccess File Right click on the .htaccess file and click Code Edit from the menu. Alternatively, you can click on the icon for the .htaccess file and then click on the Code Editor icon at the top of the page. A dialogue box may appear asking you about encoding. Just click Edit to continue. The editor will open in a new window. Edit the file as needed. Click Save Changes in the upper right hand corner when done.
