The reason I decided to purchase this robotic vacuum basically is because my Roomba got lost via a out of state move and with a baby on the way I didn't have 500$+ to spend on a new IRobot. So I settled for this one. First off.....#1-The bin on this one, if you can even call it a bin, is SUPER SMALL! Holy cow I have to empty it mid vacuum! I have hardwood floors and pets so my floor has a lot of dust ect as is normal for hard floors. #2-It HATES carpet and rugs! I have a very large but THIN area rug in the living room. It will NOT vacuum the rug! I can set the vacuum in the middle of the rug and turn it on, all it does is go backwards till it gets off the rug! It will also NOT go onto the rug on its own! The rug is like, only 1/2 inch thick! #3-I have to basically BABYSIT this vacuum because it gets stuck all the dang time!

"OMG look out a chair! Oh no a corner, not a corner! Whatever shall I do, I can't get out from under this couch!" (Seriously, spend the extra and get a Roomba!) Lastly and most ANNOYINGLY, when the vacuum is plugged in it makes a LOUD buzzing noise! Kind of similar to the sound you hear when you turn your TV on, ya know that ringing in your ears? It ran for about ten minutes, then red light came on and stopped. Put back on charger till green light stayed on again. Did this for a few days trying it again. Very disappointed, I even called the company to see if I was doing something wrong. Tod them what was happening. They said to return to store. I picks up tons of cat hair , I love it. Very easy to use and I would recommend this to anyone that has pet hair. My carpet is approximately 1/2" and it would only work for 10 seconds and then stop working. 2. On hardwood, it would work; however, it cannot navigate itself out of any corners at all. I have purchased other robotic vacuums and this product is the worst. Keep your money and your sanity. On Max setting it keeps its charge about 45 minutes in which the enclosed pamplet stated. I like that it goes along the wall and mop boards. I have four kids and two double coated large inside dogs (Husky and German Shepherd), it seems to sweep up the dog hair, but the hair gets wrapped around the brush instead of going into the bin.

I don't dump much out of the bin which tells me it isn't sucking a lot up; get more dirt and hair when I use a broom or my Dyson. It's not loud, but does have noise. We have hard wood and linolium floors. It cleaned better than we can sweep. I've had 3 back surgeries and it has been a life saver. It got under the beds were we can't reach and picked up things that we didn't think it would. It doesn't get corners too good but whats corners compared to the whole thing.
